ELAINE HEARTY -DIRECTOR

 

Elaine graduated with distinction from D.I.T Conservatory of Music and Drama, having studied Speech and Drama from 1996-1999. Since then her roles have included Chava/Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (Gaiety), Ado Annie in "Oklahoma" (Gaiety/Cork Opera House/Civic Theatre Tallaght), Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" (St. Anthony's Theatre), The Merrow in "Quest 2- The Good People Try Harder (Pavillion, Dun Laoghaire), The Pianist in " Death of Cabaret" (Dublin Fringe Festival), Lucy in the Irish Premiere of the RSC's production of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (Cork Opera House), Sharon in "A Slice of Saturday Night" (Spirit), Alice in "Alice the Musical" (Marketplace Theatre Armagh/Pavillion Dun Laoghaire) Sharon in Shay Healy's new musical "Santa's Magical Mystery" (Irish Tour), Kirsty in Seagulls Dance for two Irish workshops and the world premiere in the Draoicht, Pam in "The Vagina Monologues" alongside Fenella Fielding(Dublin/Clonmel Tour) Maureen in "Rent" (Cork Opera House/Wexford Opera House), Listen to my Heart- National Concert Hall and Irish Tour, Elvis is my Daddy- Olympia Theatre and Irish Tour. She most recently performed with Northern Ireland Opera, in Sweeney Todd at the Lyric Theatre. 

 

TV Credits Damo and Ivor, Fair City, she played Maeve for an Eircom Phonewatch Ad, a DID electrical ad (singing to a dishwasher!), and Electric Ireland Ad.  Her film credits include City of Ember, The Exorcism Diaries, Princess Rehab, and Perspectives. Her voice credits include American Cartoon Series "Dad the Impaler", AIB, Permanent TSB, Munster v's All Blacks, Fruice, Renault, Supervalu, Meteor, VHI Dentalcare, Trocaire, Cinderella (Overdub), Annbrook house hotel, Cafe En Seine, Kerrygold and she is currently recording for Folens Primary School syllabus. She plays 3 characters in "Joe and Jack" a cartoon series showing on RTE/ Tinypop.

 

Elaine is an accomplished singer/songwriter and won the 2fm Song contest in 1998 with her own composition. She has made several appearances on programmes such as The Late Late Show, 2TV, The Den, Echo Island, TX, Popscene, PM Live and various radio programmes. She recorded a single for Telethon with Irish artists such as Linda Martin, Paul Harrington, Frances Black and Gavin Friday and reached number one in the Irish charts. Elaine has been a soloist in the National Concert Hall in shows such as "A Celebration of Song", "Joe Conlan and Friends" "A Century of Song" and the AIMS Concert.  Elaine played Elphaba from Wicked in "One Voice" - a variety show held in the Gaiety Theatre. She was also a backing vocalist for the talented Josh Groban at the Point Depot. 

 

Elaine set up a production company- "Smart Blondes Productions" with Sorcha Furlong (Fair City), Sarah Flood (Fair City) and Caroline Grace Cassidy (Novelist). Their first short and second shorts  "Princess Rehab" and "I am Jesus" were accepted into the Galway Film Fleadh, the San Francisco Irish Film Festival and the Underground Film Festival. 

Elaine and her husband Ross set up Singable productions and wrote the music/songs for the RTE Panto "Once Upon A Time at Christmas" They are currently working on the Junior Syllabus for Folens Educational Company.

Stage performances include Juliet in "Romeo And Juliet"(The Mill Theatre), Anna in "New Fish" (Smock Alley Theatre), Cathy in "The Last Five Years, Gussie in "Merrily We Roll Along", Frau Binder/The Soprano in "Dalliance", Grusha in "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" Archidaemus/Gaoler/Time in "The Winter's Tale"(The Lir Academy)

Shauna Finn is the founder and director of Infinity Movement LTD. She most recently took part in filming a new Disney movie ‘disenchanted’ along side a Disney pilot episode ‘Epic’. She was on the RTE TV series “Dancing with the Stars” for 3 seasons.

 

 

Since a young age she has been representing Ireland competing and training internationally. She has attained exams in numerous styles of dance including Ballet under Royal Academy of Dance, Modern jazz and Hip Hop with Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Latin & Ballroom with United Kingdom Alliance and DanceSport Federation of Ireland. She has previously worked in Vienna, America, Brazil and Paris as a performer and dance teacher. Shauna is a qualified teacher with Acrobatic Arts and received a scholarship with Alixa Flexibility. Shauna has appeared in multiple music videos and films including the hit Irish film ‘Sing Street’. Danced alongside Westlife, Riverdance, Wild Youth, Brendan Cole, Des Bishop and The2Johnnies.

Karen has been with Showstoppers Stageschool since a very young age. She has LAMDA qualifications for both Musical Theatre and Solo Acting, earning distinctions in all of her exams. 

Karen has just graduated from college with a BA Hons first class in film and creative media at Dublin Business School.

She has been heavily involved in the school for years and has played leads in most shows she's done throughout her training such as "Legally Blonde" "Annie" and "Hairspray". She also performed in the Firhouse Community Center Panto last year as Robyn Hood in "Red Riding Hood".

Carrie Haskins is a singer songwriter from County Kildare, Ireland and describes her style as an honest blend of American Country and Pop. In 2011, she reached the battle stages of RTE’s ‘The Voice of Ireland’ and continues to study music.

Carrie’s debut EP and music video is available through Star One on Viacom TV and Vevo. and has been described as lyrical and melodic, with lush instrumentation and intertwined harmonies.

Carrie has studied music for a total of six years. Commencing her musical education at the Ballyfermot College of Further Education, her studies continued at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) Dublin, where she completed the song writing stream graduating in 2015 with a B.A Honours Degree in Commercial Modern Music.
 


Corey has been part of the show stoppers team since 2019. Her training qualifications include all 8 acting Lamda exams completed with distinctions.
 
She has completed 7 an comdhail Irish dancing grades and has completed her intermediate foundation grade in Ballet. She has competed in many competitions from county level to world level for Irish dancing. Stage performances include RTE panto in 2019 along with various performances in the civic such as Annie in 2019.
 
Currently she is in her third year of a bachelor of education degree to be a primary school teacher.

Connor is a graduate of LAMDA with a Gold Medal in both acting and Musical theatre exams. He is a current 1st year UCD student studying science.

 

Connor is an enthusiastic performer pursuing his passion for the arts by teaching and performing in shows such as Matilda and Suessical the Musical jr for Showstoppers, The Mikado, and Aladdin for the R&R and Sound of Music with Festival Productions.

Kailey also went to the famous Groundlings Improv Theatre in Los Angeles, that boasts famous alumni including Will Ferrell, Kristen Wig, Lisa Kudrow and many more. She has just completed her bachelors in acting at the Lir Academy, where in her final year she was in five professional theatre productions as well as a short film. She's signed with an agent in the U.K., and is hoping to work as an actor in Europe and U.K.

LAMDA TEACHER

Connor is a graduate of LAMDA with a Gold Medal in both acting and Musical theatre exams. He is a 2nd year UCD student studying science.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Graduated from Syracuse University receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre.  Once he graduated he performed in shows regionally before moving to New York City in 2001. He is most proud performing in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center as well as with the charity event ‘Broadway Bares’ created by Jerry Mitchell.

In 2010 Rory moved across the Atlantic to Ireland and performed around the country and as a dancer in the hit TV show “Penny Dreadful.”

He created Hues Productions in 2014 to create top of the line workshops for students in Ireland but also to bring more theatre and dance to the mainstream using as many Irish performers as possible. Since then he has brought over Broadway Stars Nikki Snelson, Ben Cameron, Laura Bell Bundy, Rachelle Rak & Chryssie Whitehead.

He is excited to have created BOOM in 2020 to connect the world of theatre around the world and into your own living rooms!

Isabelle Har­riet is a 2024 grad­u­ate of the BA Act­ing course at The Lir Academy.

She recently filmed for new BBC/​RTE tele­vi­sion series The Walsh Sis­ters, based on the nov­els by Mar­ian Keyes.

She will be appear­ing as ‘Sarah’ in short film One Last Show in Tagh­mon, pro­duced by Jim Sheri­dan and written/​directed by Alan Walsh.

She is cur­rently film­ing for Every­body Digs Bill Evans, a fea­ture film writ­ten by Mark O’Halloran based on the life of the leg­endary Jazz Pianist.

She will soon be shoot­ing for new Chan­nel 5 TV series Cooper and Fry which is based on the crime nov­els of the same name by Stephen Booth.

Her the­atre cred­its include The 24 Hour Plays at The Abbey The­atre and THIS TOO SHALL PASS at Dublin Fringe Festival.

EIMEAR SHERIDAN
DANCE TEACHER

Eimear is a professional dance teacher and choreographer based in Dublin, with over 12 years of experience. She began training at Billie Barry Stage School at age three and later studied Jazz Technique, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary at Sallynoggin Dance College. Her achievements include representing Ireland at the World Hip-Hop Championships in Las Vegas, choreographing for the televised Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Awards, and leading workshops at Electric Picnic. She founded the Devine Dance crew and has choreographed winning routines, including "Synergy Tribe" at the Irish Winter Elite Dance Championships. Eimear has worked with numerous stage schools and musical societies, choreographing productions such as West Side Story (Helix, 2018), Hairspray (Millbank Theatre, 2018), Mary Poppins (Helix, 2017), Legally Blonde, Grease, and A Chorus Line.

Shauna Buckingham is an Opera singer graduating from D.I.T Conservatory of music and drama with first class honors. Shauna has been involved in many Irish Opera productions across the years with her main achievements including; Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Musetta (La Boheme), Flora (Turn of the screw) Juno (Orrpheus in the underworld) and Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro).

Although an Opera diva she is also well versed in performing in Tv shows such as the X factor where Simon Cowell commented that she “might be the dark horse of the competition”, Eurosong in the band M.N.A and the All Ireland Talent show reaching the semi finals.
 
She regularly performs in Cabaret shows across Dublin and is passionate about gigging. She is involved in the “Singing waiters” where she would regularly surprise guests bursting into song at their events from opera, pop to musical theatre. Shauna has a love for all genres of music but is most well known for her singing of pop, folk and Opera

FRANCESCA FRUNZA
SINGING TEACHER

Francesca Frunza is a Soprano currently in her third year of studies at TU Dublin Conservatoire. Her achievements include winning awards at the Arklow Festival and performing in notable productions such as Madama Butterfly with Lyric Opera Ireland. Francesca has also showcased her skills in Mansfield Park Opera and the Opera Gala, both presented by TU Dublin.

EIMEAR BARR
SINGING TEACHER

Eimear is a professional singer and musical theatre performer from Ireland, based between Dublin, London, and Germany. A graduate of the American College Dublin and the Scottish Institute of Musical Theatre, she holds a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and has been working in the entertainment industry for over six years.

Her stage credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Bord Gáis Energy Theatre), A Frozen Princess (The Waterfront Theatre, Belfast), Song of Mirage (Tokyo Disney Resort), Tír na nÓg (dlr Mill Theatre, Dublin), X: 1969 (Edinburgh Fringe), Jack and the Beanstalk (dlr Mill Theatre, Dublin), as well as Lead Vocalist aboard AIDA Cruises.

Alongside her theatre career, Eimear frequently performs internationally at events, weddings, and private functions.

AMY KIDD
LAMDA/PLAYERS TEACHER

Theatre wise Amy most recently performed in a number of live performances with Smashing Times International Centre for the Arts and Equality – “A BEAUTY THAT WILL PASS”, “CHANGEMAKERS”, and EVA GORE-BOOTH poetry in “STATE OF INDEPENDENCE” as part of last year’s Dublin Arts and Human Rights Festival.

As a recipient of the Arts Council Agility Award Amy recently finished assisting director Conall Morrison in directing Janet Moran’s play “QUAKE” for this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival. Her debut full-length play “BREAKING” is under commission by Oliver Award winning company Fishamble Theatre.

Her theatre credits as an actor include: ‘Aisling’ in ‘Paler, Still’ by Oonagh Wall at Smock Alley Theatre, ‘The Last’ – a one-woman show in which she played Mary Shelly and all of the characters in her novel ‘The Last Man’ in a stage adaptation written and directed by Sam Chittenden (award-winning Artistic Director of Different Theatre), the lead role of ‘Jess’ in ‘Love and Money’ by Dennis Kelly at The Lantern Theatre, and ‘Alex’ in ‘Wild’ by Jenna Kamal, a piece of new writing co-produced by Anseo Anois and Rumble Theatre.

Amy is a strong classical actor with a passion for Shakespeare. Whilst a member of the National Youth Theatre she undertook an intensive week deep diving into Shakespeare’s text and the art of playing verse at The Globe, and she played The Bawd, Lychorida and Escanes in Pericles during her final year training at The Lir.

She is Co-Artistic Director and founder member of ‘Anseo Anois Theatre’, an emerging Irish Theatre Company.

Screen acting wise Amy has worked on several short films since completing her training, these include: ‘Leah’ in ‘Grind’ and ‘Annette’ in ‘The Wedding’.

CHARLEY WHITE
DRAMA/DANCE TEACHER

Charley has dedicated her life to all things Performing Arts for almost 20 years now. She started her training at the tender age of 3, where her passion for all things “glitter and jazz hands” only grew from there. Charley went on to graduate from the Irish College Of Music Theatre with a degree in Musical Theatre. 

Charley has been teaching since the age of 16. She has worked in many different Schools, Stage Schools, Intensive Workshops, Summer Schools all over Ireland and in the UK. Also Charley has worked for many different Production Companies over the years in various departments including Directing, Choreographing, Musical Direction, Costuming and Casting. 

Charley has an array of stage experience in her back pocket, including playing “Belle” in “Beauty and The Beast”, “Imelda Quirke” in “The Commitments” and playing the lead roles of “Snow White” and “Red Riding Hood” in the Causeway Productions Pantomimes. Charley has also performed with artists such as Paul Byrom, Rebecca Storm and Russell Watson, touring all over Ireland. 

Charley is also no stranger to the screen, appearing on “Damo & Ivor”, “The Late Late Show”, “XFactor” as part of girlband FAE, “Winx Fate Saga” on Netflix and most recently as a finalist on “Last Singer Standing” on RTÉ. 

Charley’s areas of teaching expertise lend themselves to many aspects of Musical Theatre including Dance, Singing, Creative Drama, Acting Through Song and Music Theory to name a few. Charley has been appointed as ITW’s Head of Dance and will be looking after the ITW Dance Department with great care

Charley is also a certified Personal Trainer with qualifications in Les Mills, Zumba and Yoga. She has worked in the fitness industry along side performing arts in her later years, with a specialization in programs for Performing Arts industry affiliates and GAA players.

ISABELLE HARRIET
DRAMA TEACHER

Isabelle Har­riet is a 2024 grad­u­ate of the BA Act­ing course at The Lir Academy.

She recently filmed for new BBC/​RTE tele­vi­sion series The Walsh Sis­ters, based on the nov­els by Mar­ian Keyes.

She will be appear­ing as ‘Sarah’ in short film One Last Show in Tagh­mon, pro­duced by Jim Sheri­dan and written/​directed by Alan Walsh.

She is cur­rently film­ing for Every­body Digs Bill Evans, a fea­ture film writ­ten by Mark O’Halloran based on the life of the leg­endary Jazz Pianist.

She will soon be shoot­ing for new Chan­nel 5 TV series Cooper and Fry which is based on the crime nov­els of the same name by Stephen Booth.

Her the­atre cred­its include The 24 Hour Plays at The Abbey The­atre and THIS TOO SHALL PASS at Dublin Fringe Festival.

ISEULT LAW

SINGING TEACHER

Iseult is a dedicated soprano and music educator, passionate about both performance and teaching. She is currently undertaking a professional mentorship with Sylvia O’Brien at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, having recently graduated with First Class Honours in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.

As a performer, she sings with Christ Church Cathedral Choir and has worked with ensembles including the Trinity College Dublin Chapel Choir, Lux Brumalis, and the Irish Youth Choir. Her repertoire spans opera, musical theatre, and choral music.

Alongside her performing career, Iseult teaches voice and piano to students of all ages, from early years through to young adults. She is committed to nurturing talent, building confidence, and fostering a lifelong love of music in her students.

ROSS O CONNOR
MUSICAL DIRECTOR 

Ross O'Connor is a well known Musical Director/Composer. Husband of Elaine (Above). Together they wrote all the songs/music for the RTE Panto "Once Upon a Time at Christmas". They both set up Singable productions and created their own children's tv series. They currently work for Folens Educational company on their Junior Syllabus. 

Ross is a film composer and is currently scoring a Hallmark movie.

RORY HUGHES
LAMDA TEACHER

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Graduated from Syracuse University receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre. Once he graduated he performed in shows regionally before moving to New York City in 2001. He is most proud performing in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center as well as with the charity event 'Broadway Bares' created by Jerry Mitchell. In 2010 Rory moved across the Atlantic to Ireland and performed around the country and as a dancer in the hit TV show "Penny Dreadful."

He created Hues Productions in 2014 to create top of the line workshops for students in Ireland but also to bring more theatre and dance to the mainstream using as many Irish performers as possible. Since then he has brought over Broadway Stars Nikki Snelson, Ben Cameron, Laura Bell Bundy, Rachelle Rak & Chryssie Whitehead. He is excited to have created BOOM in 2020 to connect the world of theatre around the world and into your own living rooms!

LAUREN O'LEARY
DRAMA TEACHER

Lauren O’Leary is an actor and writer based in Dublin. Her recent screen credits include Suspect (Disney+, 2024) and Neil Jordan’s feature film Marlowe (2022). On stage, she won the Stage Debut Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in The Awkward Years at The Other Room teatre. She also notably played Amber in Little Gem at the Irish Rep in New York. 

 

Lauren trained at Trinity College Dublin and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and was part of the HighTide Young Writers Academy, where her short play Oh, Lisdoonvarna was selected for their festival in Aldeburgh. She has just shot her first short film and has a play in development.

GEORGIA O TOOLE
SINGING TEACHER

Georgia is a passionate and versatile musician whose experience spans jazz, blues, theatre, and contemporary performance. She has recently graduated from the Music Institute (BIMM) in Dublin with a BA (Hons) Commercial Modern
Music degree in vocals. A dedicated songwriter, Georgia released her debut single in April 2025. She uses her original music to raise awareness around mental health, while also performing as a singer with her band Porge, currently gigging in venues such as The Button Factory. Her performance background includes featured radio appearances, theatre performances and local festivals, to headlining the Celbridge Festival in 2024. With formal training in vocals, Georgia has developed a deep experience in vocal health, technique, and performance skills, which she now shares through her teaching. Currently, Georgia has been accepted into BAST Training to further her studies in vocal 
teaching and build on her creative skills as an artist.
